Friday night our friends came over for dinner. After dinner we were going to go swimming at the YMCA. A storm came through and closed the pool. Needless to say there were many meltdowns. To divert their attention away from the cancelled swim session I decided to bring out my old dance costumes and our old Halloween costumes for some dress up fun. The kids had a BLAST!!! (Although Steve did say we need to get some BOY dress up clothes for Ethan...he wasn't too impressed with him putting on fringe & feathers:) The dress up party progressed into a parade, complete with instruments and a drum major. As soon as the storm had passed we were marching up and down the street. It was quite a sight ...I wonder what the neighbors thought of their Friday night entertainment. I am going to send this video into Macy's .....maybe you'll see them Thanksgiving morning:)

How stinkin' cute. I love it!
You are such a good mommy to distract them like that! That looks funner than swimming! Emmi watched the video with me. She wishes she were in the parade! She wants to be Mickey.
What a great momma you are!
It's those times that your kids will remember. Great improvising!! Not too mention, adorable.
