Monday Steve's brother Scott will travel to Vancouver to join the entire Canadian Special Olympics team. The team will then head to the Winter World Special Olympics in Boise, Idaho. This is a dream come true for Scott. He had always wanted to play at a national championship but couldn't imagine being able to play for his country. He will be participating in floor hockey for Canada. Scott's team won the national championship last year. They have been practicing regularly and have even had a conditioning coach! We are so proud of everything Scottie has achieved in his life. We sure hope they can bring back the gold medal but if they don't we know he will bring back a lifetime of memories and have a lot of fun! So be safe Scott and good luck!

I was JUST reading about this in last week's Parade insert in our Sunday paper...it was about Partners working with Floor Kockey players for the SO. It is awesome that you have a family member participating! Let us know how things go!
That is incredible!!! What an awesome thing!!! OH...and I love the snow pictures too. Can't beat a day playing in the snow!
