Fall Family Fun!

Friday night we went to Greenfield Village for trick or treating. Last year was the first year we went and we were so impressed we decideed to make it an annual event. 800 pumpkins are hand carved then lined on a mile path that you walk down to trick or treat like they did in the early days. The weather this year was MUCH better than last. (Last year was in the 30s) So we were able to look around more. No two pumpkins were carved the same. Ethan & Mia had fun picking out their favorites. They were supposed to go as pirates but Mia decided at the last minute she didn't want to wear her costume. Instead she wanted to be a cat. We brought her costume out from last year and it still fit so Marie the cat she was. The moon was out and it was a picture perfect fall night. The kids came home with lots of treats, one stand was even giving away beanie babies, and now they can't wait for Halloween to come!

I love their costumes! Don't you love how girls like to change their minds every 2 seconds? What a fun tradition, I wish they had something like that where we live.

So so cute. Looks like you had a fun time. You are way ahead of the game than me this year. I haven't even figured out Ava's cowgirl costume yet. Oy!
