Going for the Gold

Here is another amazing piece of news from the past few weeks! Steve's brother Scott who lives in London, Ontario recently was asked to participate in the Canadian Winter Special Olympics in the team sport of Floor Hockey. He was so excited before his trip as this had always been one of his greatest dreams! We were so proud of him for making it there and then the most amazing thing happened. Scott's team won the gold medal! When we talked to him late on March 2nd, even after a long train ride home you could tell Scott was totally on cloud nine. It is an amazing thing to have a world class athlete in the family. Scott hopes that his team will be chosen to travel to Boise, Idaho for the World Special Olympics next February. No matter what happens next, we will always be there cheering Scott on!
